Deed registrations online to cross the figure of 50000

The Chief of the department of registration shared the news that the number of deed registrations made online would cross the figure of 50000 soon.
The online registration of deeds commenced in all the 575 registration offices throughout Tamil Nadu state on 12th February.
Though there were initial difficulties due to some technical problems, they were solved fairly quickly and the number of online registration picked up subsequently.
Regarding ‘Muhurtha Naal’ (auspicious days of the wedding), around 49057 online marriage registrations have been made right from the starting date until 23rd February. This is likely to cross the figure of 50000 soon.
On the statistical aspect, an average of 8000 documents is registered online every day. On Monday, Wednesday, and wedding days, the number of online registrations will be higher.
It is expected that soon over 10000 online registration will be made considering all the registration offices
