Will milk make us grow taller and stronger?

Milk is a rich source of drink for Vitamin D, calcium, Fat and other essential body nutrition that one needs for the overall energy in a given day. As a source of protein and certain vitamins, Milk is considered to be a very nutritious food for children and adults as well. It is true that the natural milk contains many ingredients that helps to boost up the overall protein and vitamin intake in our bodies but there are also certain myths about diary that has to be demystified and cleared about.

Can milk help Children to grow?

No, Never. Maybe a little discouraging for the parents feeding cow milk to their children regularly. But the truth is milk provides certain nutrients that are essential for Children. Children up to 4 years will have the ability to digest the hard enzymes of milk and absorb the nutrition from it. These absorbed nutrition will act as an effective food source but will never trigger the growth hormone for any human body. Especially for infants the mother’s milk is the only source that plays a major role in stimulating growth.

Can milk be a brain boosting supplement?

The cleat answer for this question relies on the type of milk we consume or feed our children. Grass fed Cows’ milk can be very natural and it will provide all essential vitamins and protein needed for the overall health. But the pasteurized and processed milk loses all the important fresh factors and can also degrade one’s health especially in children causing phlegm and intolerance.

Can milk cure calcium deficiency?

For a certain extent it may provide enough calcium for our body, as it is rich in Vitamin D. But it may not be a substitute as a complete source of Vitamin D. Sunlight and eating raw foods are the main sources of calcium and milk will be an added supplement only.

Can Milk replace a meal?

People trying to maintain their body through liquid diet will mostly opt or a glass of fresh milk as their food in the morning or night. Research shows that cow’s milk is not an essential form of food for Human beings since it is only a form of food for the calves. Our body loses the digestive enzymes necessary for breaking up the milk inside the stomach once we grow older. So it is better to opt for other form of fruits and vegetables as a source of nutrition rather than milk.
