PG medical courses merit list to be released on 15th Feb

It has been decided to allot marks this year for the doctors who are working the District Taluk hospitals just as being given for the government doctors who work in the Primary Health Centres.
There are over 23000 seats available to join the postgraduate medical courses such as MD and MS in the various government and private colleges and the deemed universities throughout the country.
These seats are filled up from the candidates who qualify after writing NEET - The National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test. NEET for the year 2018-19 was conducted on 7th January. Over 1 Lakh candidates wrote NEET. The results were declared on 23rd January.
The merit list for the successful NEET candidates will be released on 15th February. Subsequently, the counselling for admission to the postgraduate medical courses is scheduled to start.
