Special Classes and evening snacks for 10th and 12th std students of goverment schools in chennai.
Chennai Mayor Saidai Duraisamy announced a scheme of giving evening snacks to the 10th and 12th Std school students all over chennai. 9631 sslc students and 6754 12th students will be benefited in this scheme and moreover evening 4pm to 6pm there will be conducted compulsory special classes to the students. For this scheme the state government had sanctioned 25 lakhs 63 thousand for the benefit of the students.
More than that he listed few corporation aided schemes and future developments of chennai whereas the gardens and parks which are to be newly demolished and public toilets are to be built in various parts of chennai(bustand Railway stations etc�)
