Petrol and diesel price increased

Petrol price was increased by 11 paise per litre and diesel price up by 18 paise per litre with effect from 6 am, Jan 09.

Prices may vary from Outlet to Outlet within a city due to differential local sales tax or VAT rates.

After the price revision, a litre of petrol in Chennai will now cost Rs. 73.12 per litre and diesel will cost Rs. 63.92 per litre.
