Petrol price was increased by 2 paise per litre and diesel price up by 5 paise per litre with effect from 6 am, Jan 05.

Prices may vary from Outlet to Outlet within a city due to differential local sales tax or VAT rates.

After the price revision, a litre of petrol in Chennai will now cost Rs. 72.55 per litre and diesel will cost Rs. 63.15 per litre.
