With an aim to make the junction more pedestrian-friendly, the corporation has decided to increase the width of the footpaths along T T K Road, Cathedral Road and Radhakrishnan Salai.
With the small platform that is too small to walk at side of the road "An ideal footpath should be 1.2m or four feet on which two people can walk together. A horticulture firm has given us plants that do not require sunlight, so we may look into that for the decorative purpose.
