As the Ayudha Pooja is about to be over, the price of egg may go up

As the festival of Navratri and Ayudha Pooja is about to be over, there are strong prospects of the price of egg going up.
Normally, the traders buy eggs as per the price fixed by the National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC) from the poultry owners.
Over the last 4 days, the price of egg has been going up in the order – 1st day – 387 Paise, 2nd day and 3rd day – 390 Paise, 4th day – 393 Paise. This is a total increase of 6 Paise per egg.
On 21st September, the price was egg was reduced by 15 Paise and was fixed at 378 Paise. On 23rd September, it was reduced by 18 Paise and was fixed at 360 Paise. As the price reduced drastically by 33 Paise in just 2 days, the producers were worried.
They explained that the price of egg has stabilised and is good in North India. The Pooja will end in Tamil Nadu by 30th September. The distribution of eggs for the nutrition meal scheme has also started. So, there are good prospects of the egg price going up in 4 days.
