Chennai’s Hostel to pay for Garbages across the streets of city

Increasing amount of hostels in Chennai due to IT Parks, Students and other layman have created a large number of dumping garbages in Chennai city. Mayor Saidai Duraisamy said to the municipality to collect maintenance charges from hostels for garbage disposals. Mayor was responding to the councilors raised their questions for the areas with are contaminated due to huge no of garbage disposals.
The civic body will collect a net amount of tax from the hostel owners for the maintenance purpose as per the commercial purpose as per today as many as 40,350 traders have got license in the city as for the marriage halls situated in Chennai. more than 3,033 traders are waiting for the new license to be issued shortly.
