Koyambedu to get new market for pulses and grains

Koyambedu is ready to launch its new arrival separate market for grains and pulses .as the already contains separate markets and selling places for flowers,fruits,vegetables and many more.but there was no pulse market in the area but it is to be ful filled in few days because the government decided to spend Rs. 69.17 crores for new construction The Chennai Metro Development Association (CMDA) estimated the cost and the tender was finalized.
The construction works were started and the project would be finalized within the period of 18 months. 492 new shops are being built and out of that 364 shops are to be built in 280 sq ft.and remaining 92 shops in 740 sq ft. 36 shops were to be built in 12 sq ft .13 blocks are to be built for the facility to launch lorries and vehicles for exporting and importing purposes.the wholesellers of grains and pulses in the area of Broadways are being shifted ti koyambedu wholesale markets.
All the pulses will be sold as for both wholesaler and for retailers said by officials
