Chennai Meteorological Centre - 2 days widespread rain in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of medium rain in several places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, Balachandran had a press session with the news reporters. He informed that a low-pressure zone has developed in the lower layers of the atmosphere over the South Karnataka to South Tamil Nadu regions.
In a similar way, the winds from the West and the East are likely to meet in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the South Tamil Nadu region.
The director informed that there are strong prospects of widespread medium-intensity rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There may be heavy rains in a few places in south Tamil Nadu in the delta districts.
