Special trains for Tiruchendur Kandha Sashti festival

The Southern Railway will operate express special trains between Tirunelveli and Tiruchendur to clear passenger rush during the Kanda Sashti festival at Subramaniaswamy Temple in Tiruchendur on November 18. 

According to Southern Railway press release, the Tirunelveli-Tiruchendur express special number 1 will leave Tirunelveli at 12 noon and reach Tiruchendur at 1.45 p.m. Express special number 2 will leave Tirunelveli at 1.30 p.m. and reach Tiruchendur at 3.15 p.m.

These trains will stop at Palayamkottai, Seydunganallir, Thathankulam, Srivaikundam, Alwartirunagari, Nazareth, Kachchanavilai, Kurumbur, Arumuganeri and Kayalpattinam.

The Tirunelveli-Tiruchendur express special number 3 will leave Tirunelveli at 11.30 p.m. and reach Tiruchendur at 12.45 a.m.

This train will not stop at any station in between.

The Tiruchendur-Tirunelveli special number 1 will leave Tiruchendur at 9.15 a.m. and reach Tirunelveli at 10.50 a.m. This train will not stop at any station in between. The Tiruchendur-Tirunelveli express special number 2 will leave Tiruchendur at 7 p.m. and reach Tirunelveli at 8.45 p.m.

The special number 3 will leave Tiruchendur at 9.15 p.m. and reach Tirunelveli at 11 p.m. Specials 2 and 3 will halt at Palayamkottai, Seydunganallir, Thathankulam, Srivaikundam, Alwartirunagari, Nazareth, Kachchanavilai, Kurumbur, Arumuganeri and Kayalpattinam.
