YMCA, Madras Founders Day celebrations

YMCA, Madras celebrated its Founders day and Membership Campaign Award night 2017 on Tuesday, the 6th June 2017 at YMCA International Youth Centre, Vepery.
The meeting commenced with prayer by Mr. Isaiah Kumar, Board Member, YMCA Madras. Dr. Vincent George, President, YMCA Madras, welcomed the gathering and Chief Guests for the day. Dr. C. Sylendra Babu, IPS, Addl. Director General of Police Coastal Security Group was the Chief Guest and distributed the prizes. The Most Rt. Rev. Dr. M. Ezra Sargunam, Father Bishop, ECI, and Membership Campaign Commissioner honoured the Campaigners.
Sir George Williams Life Time Achievement Award was presented to Mr. P.H. Pandian, Mr. Jesubakthan & Mr. B. Nagendra Babu. David McConnaughy Award was presented to Mr. Ivan Sunil Daniel recognized as Best Secretary. Samuel Thangiah Award was presented to Mr. N. Santhosh Kumar recognized as Best Staff. Dr. S.Radhakrishnan Award was awarded to Mrs. S.Bavani being recognized as Best Teacher. Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Award was presented to Master S.Selvapandi and Selvi. V.Vidhya being recognized as Best Student. Best performance awards were presented to Secretaries. The meeting came to an end with closing prayer by Mr. Ravikumar David.
