Tenting & Trekking - Kodaikanal

Kodaikanal is a city in the hills of the Dindigul district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Its name in the Tamil language means The Gift of the Forest. Kodaikanal is referred to as the Princess of Hill stations and has a long history as a retreat and popular tourist destination. Mannavanur is a very small farming village about 35 Kms west of Kodaikanal. The village is famous for its terrace farming technique. The village is a paradise for nature lovers and travellers who like to experience the tranquillity and simplicity of a village life.
Itinerary:
Saturday
- 10 am: pick up from Kodai international school football ground.
- 12 pm: Reach out our camp ground through our van or your vehicle. Welcome drink & camp briefing & you can check in your allotted tent.
- 1.30 pm: Lunch (Veg)
- 2.30 pm: Trek to water Falls & you can dip in till you are done.
- 5 pm: Back to camp ground. Play archery, volleyball with our Trekkers.
- 7 pm: Camp fire.
- 9 pm: Dinner (Bbq- veg/Non veg) & continue camp fire.
- 11 pm: Time for sleep or stare the million of stars & join us again at campfire.
Sunday
- 7 am: Morning tea/coffee
- 8 am: Breakfast ( Bread, butter, Jam, Boiled egg).
- 9 am: Trekking into the woods (6kms).
- 1.30 pm: Lunch (Veg)
- 3.30 pm: Group pic.
- 5 pm: Drop at Kodaikanal bus stand.
