Weather forecast: Prospects of rain today in South Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are good prospects of rains or rains with thunder in a few places in South Tamil Nadu today (Thursday, 30th March).
It explained that the thermal convection formed has led to the prospects of rains or rains with thunder in South Tamil Nadu. However dry weather will prevail in Northern Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Chennai will remain partly cloudy. The maximum temperature will be 34 Degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 26 Degrees Celsius.
