The 98th birth anniversary celebrations of Padma Vibhushan Smt. D.K. Pattammal will be taking place at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore, organized by Aanmajothi - Cultural wing of Saraswathi Vidyalaya and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
Day 1, 25.03.2017, 5pm: Concert by Ms Neyveli Rajalakshmi and Shri Cherthala Ranganathan Sharma.
Day 2, 26.03.2017, 6.00pm: Ms. Rajani and Ms. Gayathri, well-renowned carnatic vocalists will be conferred with the title of ‘Isaijothi’ and presented with the prestigious D. K. Pattamal Award to Commemorate the Shri L. Sabaretnam, Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan will do the honours and Dr. Nithyashree Mahadevan will be the guest of honour. The award ceremony will be followed by a concert by Shri S. Saketh Raman.
