Review on the general transfers of the government school teachers

The Department of School Education of the Tamil Nadu State government has prepared a time chart regarding the general transfer and promotion of the government school teachers for the next academic year 2017-18.
- Submission of general transfer requests of teachers by the Headmasters of government schools � 31st March
- The transfer of the government Higher secondary School Headmasters from one district to another district or within the district � 21st May.
- The promotion of the government Higher Secondary Schools � 22nd May.
- The transfer of the government Higher secondary School Headmasters from one district to another district or within the district � 23rd May.
- Government Higher Secondary High School postgraduate teachers transfer within the district � 24th May.
- Government Higher Secondary High School postgraduate teachers transfer From one district to another district � 25th May.
- Government Higher Secondary High School postgraduate teachers promotion - 26th May.
- Physical Education teachers, tailoring, Music, and art teachers transfer (within the district) � 27th May
- Physical Education teachers, tailoring, Music, and art teachers transfer (from one district to another district) � 28th May
- Graduate Teachers transfer I within the district) � 29th May.
- Graduate Teachers Transfer (from one district to another district) � 30th May
- Secondary grade teachers, Physical Education teachers, Special Teachers - to be promoted as graduate teachers � 31st May.
As per the above tentative time-chart, the department of school education has planned to conduct all the counseling meetings regarding transfers and promotions.
