10th Standard Public Exam: Private candidates may apply on Tatkal

The Director of the Tamil Nadu State Examination Board, Ms. Vasundara Devi has released a press note. A brief on this:
The private candidates who failed to apply within the deadline given for writing the 10th Standard Public Examination as announced earlier and wish to apply can still apply for the same under the Special Permission Scheme (Tatkal basis) by applying online on 16th and 17th February.
This Tatkal application can be made only by visiting the district-wise set-up examination centres in person and applying online.
The private candidates will have to pay as application fee the amount of examination fee (Rs. 125/-) and the special application scheme fee of Rs. 500/- and the online registration fee of Rs. 50/-. This works out to a total of Rs. 675/-. This amount has to be paid in cash in the respective examination centres.
