NEET aspirants get a concession

Candidates who have written the entrance examination three times for MBBS and BDS courses were banned from writing NEET. This ban has been removed but since the coding in the website has not been updated, there is problem in applying.
CBSE had announced that NEET examination will be held on 7th May. The notification was issued on 31st January. In this notification it was mentioned that candidates who had earlier attempted thrice cannot write the NEET. Since the NEET has been made compulsory, there were demands to reconsider this clause. In continuation of this, the the health ministry said NEET-2017 shall be counted as the first attempt, irrespective of the previous attempts. Since the CBSE- NEET website was not updated according to the new rule, the aspirants who had attempted thrice were not able to apply.
