Entrepreneurship Conclave 2017

The Chennai Entrepreneurship Conclave 2k17 was organised by E-Cell, NIT Trichy in association with CEDI-Sonata Digital Incubation Fund, Startup Village, SellerGro, Startup Leadership, Spark10 and E-Cell IIT Madras.
The E-Cell of NIT Trichy is geared towards fostering entrepreneurship among innumerous students and budding entrepreneurs who have a passion for innovating and bringing about a change in our society.
The Chennai Conclave is aimed creating a strong positive impact in the Startup Ecosystem of India. This event provided a common platform for entrepreneurs, investors and mentors to network with each other and discuss about the current Startup scenario.
The event saw participation from student entrepreneurs, holistic startups, distinguished speakers and successful investors. The Conclave commenced with a panel discussion consisting of C K Kumaravel, CEO Naturals, Venky Rajendran, Founder SellerGro, Gowrishankar Sundararajan, Director Malaysia Blue Ocean, Narayanan, President TiE Chennai and Saundarya Rajesh, CEO Avtar Group, with Vivek Srinivasan presiding over as the panel moderator. This was followed by a talk by Dorai Thodla, the founder of Imorph, on ‘Sustainable Competitive Advantage through Technology’.
The participants and mentors savored the afternoon break through a networking lunch, where everyone interacted and got acquainted with each other shortly after the brief talk delivered by CEDI-SONATA Digital Incubation Fund and Startup Village.
The afternoon session consisted of intensive, close-door pitches wherein promising ideas were given an opportunity to pitch in front of an investor panel consisting Axilor, Skateboat Capital, The Chennai Angels, Venturecast and Unitus Seed Fund and get incubated to develop further and bloom into successful startups.
Entrepreneurship is growing at an exponential rate in the world and we as responsible citizens of India should forge the Spirit of entrepreneurship in us and among all our friends.This Conclave is one such arena which shaped our intellect to sky rocket the spirit.
