�Deepam� Festival Begins At Tiruvannamalai Omarunachala Temple

Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple here to witness the flag-hoisting ritual, marking the commencement of the 10-day �Karthigai Deepam� festival on Thursday.
The �utsavar� deities of Sri Vinayakar and Sri Chandrasekharar will be taken in procession in the mornings on all days from Tuesday to Friday. The �Maharathams� will be taken out in a procession through the four �mada� streets on Decembr 05th on the seventh day of the festival.
The �Bharani Deepam� will be lit inside the temple on December 08th 4pm and the �Maha Deepam,� a top the Annamalai Hills on December 08th 6pm.
