Rains are expected in most parts of Tamil Nadu and Chennai

An official of the Meteorological Centre has mentioned: Depression which was formed in south west bay of Bengal is still stationed there. Due to this there was 5 cm rain at Kaatupakkam near Chennai.
This depression will become a low pressure in 3 days. In view of this, there will be rains in almost all the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu. There will be heavy rains in one or two places in some parts of coastal Tamil Nadu. There will also be rains in some places of northern districts. Today rains are expected in most parts of Tamil Nadu and Chennai.
