Light showers in some areas of the city

Meteorological department has mentioned: A low pressure trough (depression) can be seen over southwest Bay of Bengal near Kanyakumari. One or two spells of rain or thundershower is likely to occur in some areas of Southern Tamil Nadu. There will also be rains in some parts of other Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The sky conditions will be generally cloudy in the morning and partly cloudy thereafter in Chennai. There will be light showers in some areas of the city.
