Aadhar card compulsory for public examinations

Directorate of Government Examination has ordered that 10th and 12th standard students of Tamil Nadu can write the public examinations only if they have Aadhar cards. The public examination for the year 2016-2017 will be held during the March 2017. The directorate has mentioned there will be some changes in the pattern of the examination. At this juncture, the directorate has sent a circular to all the educational officers.
In that it has been mentioned that while uploading the details of the students who will be attending the public examinations on the online, the Aadhar card details is also to be uploaded. It has been mentioned that Aadhar cards should be enrolled for all the students otherwise they will not be permitted to write the examination.
