Indian IT sector will boom yet again, says Girish Gopal

The present state of Indian IT sector will change and it will boom yet again, says Girish Gopal of Infosys. IT field that saw rapid growth in very short time span is now declining. Growth in this sector is in single digits, shockingly. There are rumors and talks that the future of IT sector is too skeptical.

Speaking about this, the former President of Infosys, Gopala Krishnan stated that there will be severe decline in India’s IT sector in 2008 when there was global economic crisis. However, the victory and outgrowth of IT field came out as a bundle of surprise to everyone. I strongly believe that the Indian IT sector will continue giving out job opportunities to everyone. IT sector will keep growing without any doubt. Those who are spreading rumors today will be dumbstruck in the near future. Undoubtedly, IT sector would have doubled in its growth by then.

Yes, it is true that the IT is going downhill in 2016-17. I’m not refuting this. Instead of the expected 12-15 percent growth, it is just 8-9 percent, but in the upcoming days, the scenario will change. With the forthcoming year, there will yet again be growth.
