BSNLs 4G services shortly

Public Sector Unit BSNL has decided to begin the 4G Services.
In the recently concluded spectrum auction, the debt-ridden telecom sector had ignored premium radiowaves in the 700 MHz band - which was put up for sale for the first time - at a reserve or base price of Rs. 11,485 crore per MHz.
At this juncture, BSNL has suggested that a 5 MHz block in the 700 Mhz band be assigned to it by the government through the equity route.
700 MHz offered clear advantages such as good coverage with lesser number of base stations.
