Rs 2000 currency note without Gandhi image

There is great sensation because of the images of the supposed Rs 2,000 denomination bank notes have been circulating on Twitter. Currently Rs 5, 10, 20, 50,100,500 and 1000 currency notes are under circulation. Now there is news that Rs 2000 currency notes printed at Mysuru currency printing facility are to be circulated soon.
At this juncture, the images of Rs 2000 have been circulating on the Twitter. The notes which bear the colour of pink and white does not have the image of Gandhi. So far Reserve Bank of India has not officially announced about this new Rs 2000 note.
