Cambridge Sound Management, the Tech developer has made announcements regarding its latest innovation. It is a system involving the use of two speakers for creating a sound blanket. This blanket will aid in block disruptive sounds and the private conversations within a room will be maintained secretive.
The makers claim this to be the first of its kind smart sleep system. It can get customized based on the architecture of the room and its acoustics. A two unit system is used in the system and this offers 15 various sound blankets all of which function to reduce disruptive indoor and outdoor noises.
Various architectures of the room are taken into account including that of wood floors, windows, carpet, etc for its functioning. With these details, the system creates a wall that performs as a sound blanket. It offers uniform coverage. Furthermore, the blanket will also emit different nature’s sounds allowing users to fall asleep.
Smartphone apps used on Android or iOS or web browser can control Nightingale. Nightingale programs can be changed as per the user’s need and convenience. There are many smart home devices available including Philips Hue, Nest and Ring, Amazon Alexa, and so on. With all these, Nightingale can be linked via IFTTT platform. The system also comes with LED night light that comes with four color variations.
