6387 policemen transferred to armed force department

DGP has ordered the transfers of 6387 police personnel from Tamil Nadu Special Police Force to Armed force.
8500 members who belonged to Tamil Nadu Special Police Youth Brigade were absorbed as Grade- II Police Constables. They were intensely trained for the last seven months. After the training, the 8500 members were absorbed in the Tamil Nadu Special Police. In continuation of this 6387 Grade- I Police Constables from Tamil Nadu Special Police was transferred to Tamil Nadu Special Police Force to Armed force.
