Facility for employees to buy a house through Provident Fund

The commissioner of the EPFO (Employees Provident Fund Organisation), Dr V. P. Joy, announced that the facility for the employees to buy and own houses through the Provident Fund savings would be introduced from the next year.
EPFO is all set to introduce this facility through which even the lower income group of the employees would be able to realise the dream of buying their own house.
As per this new scheme, the monthly provident fund remittance of the employees would be converted as the monthly instalment payment.
Dr V. P. Joy informed that this scheme would be brought into effect by next year to facilitate the employees to utilise their Provident Fund contribution to buy and own houses.
