S A Chandrasekaran : New Head Producers Council

S A Chandrasekaran, who is currently the acting president of the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC), was on Sunday elected as the president of the council at the end of the counting of votes polled yesterday.
S A Chandrasekaran had taken over as the president of TFPC in May this year, after the erstwhile chief Rama Narayanan resigned from the post following the DMK’s loss in the Assembly elections.
SAC faced stiff contest from two teams- one led by KR and the other by Dr Srinivasan. At the end of the counting, it was announced that T Siva and T G Thyagarajan from KR`s Tamilnadu Thayarippalargal Munnetra Ani were elected to the post of vice-presidents of the council.
