Rains expected in Tamil Nadu due to low-pressure

Since a low-pressure area has formed over the Bay of Bengal signalling a revival of the monsoon over Central India, continued wet session over parts of North-West India and the West Coast, there will be sporadic rains in Tamil Nadu. There are also chances of increased rains.
From yesterday, the sky in Chennai was cloudy. Since there is sporadic rains, the climate has become pleasant.
Director Balachandran of Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned: In the last 24 hours there were rains in Villupuram District and Puducherry state. For the next 24 hours the sky in Chennai and surroundings will be cloudy. There are chances of rains in one or two places. There will be mild showers in North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in one or two places. In one or two places of South Tamil Nadu, there will be rains. This weather will prevail for another three days.
