Indian Railways to digitalize its heritage symbols

The Indian Railways has decided to digitalize all of its heritage symbols. Now, as a move to attract foreigners by digitalization, the Indian railway has plans to join hands with Google.
 
The Indian Railways has now expressed interest in joining hands with Google. Officials from the Railway ministry stated that with digitalization, people from across the world will be able to view these Indian Railways heritage symbols online.
 
Indian Railways has got a number of monuments including bridges, steam engines, museums, etc. The sole intention now is to deliver these symbols to people from across the world. A contract in this regard will soon be signed. The National Railway Museum is now functioning as a non-profit organization. This is now intending to digitalize all cultural symbols and make it available online.
 
Officials added that they are set to display symbols including steam engine, railway compartments, railway stations, bridges, and lot more. When these are made available online, it will attract more number of visitors, say railway officials.
 
GCI (Google Cultural Institute) is joining hands only with non-profit organizations and government organizations alone. Now, the Indian Railway has joined hands with Google to provide free Wi-Fi facility at railway stations.
