Internet Broadband speed set to increase by 4 times

The Central Ministry of Telecommunications as planned to increase the current internet broadband speed up by 4 times.
The current broadband speed is rather slow and takes more time for downloading. Because of this, the central ministry has informed that it has plans to increase the internet broadband speed by 4 times.
The Minister Mr. Ravishankar Prasad informed that the patronage of internet services has grown in a large way. The present internet speed stands at 512 kbps. The minister informed that this will be increased to 2 Mbps. This would facilitate the a 20 percent growth of internet users throughout the country in the next 5 years.
