Centre takes stringent moves to track black money

The centre is devising plans to ban sum above Rs 3 lakh, as a move to control black money. They have arrived at this decision as per the recommendations by the crew deployed by the Supreme Court, the centre. In spite of this, according to their suggestions, ban on money above Rs 15 lakh is yet to be decided. Traders and businessmen have started expressing their opposition in this regard.
As a move to track transactions made through credit cards, debit cards and cheque, a threshold of Rs 3 lakh is set. Officials are taking serious steps to identify unaccounted transactions in addition to which they are also eyeing on unaccounted purchase of car and other luxury products.
