Android Nougat 7.0 for next Nexus phones

The latest range of Nexus will have the latest Android Nougat 7.0. Reports say that the dates in its latest software update schedule. They also say that Canadian telecom operator had been accurate about the launch date of the Marshmallow update on Nexus devices last year.
If it releases the update for existing Nexus devices, it would be a significant change from the pattern followed by Google where it used to introduce a new OS with the launch a new Nexus device.
The absence of the Nexus 6 from the list comes as a disappointment as received updates with all five developer previews, making it eligible for an update. However, Telus clearly mentioned that all dates are subjected to changes.
