3.6 lakh Twitter accounts get blocked

Since mid of last year, Twitter has blocked about 3.6 lakh accounts all of which violated usage rules. In a note about this, Twitter has stated that they have blocked these many Twitter accounts following complaints about actions endorsing terrorism.
They confirmed such activities and 1.25 lakh accounts were blocked in February. Now, more of 2.35 lakh Twitter accounts are blocked too. On the whole, 3.6 lakh accounts are blocked now.
Twitter strictly prohibits using the social media platform for Terrorist actions. The platform is very stringent about taking immediate action on such accounts.
