Rs 102.11 crore collected in e-Service centres in Chennai

An official release from Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation mentions: Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation had been operating 486 e-Service Centres across the State. The general public can apply for documents like income certificates, community certificates, and birth and death certificates. 208 centres are functioning in Chennai city. 208 e-Service centres in Chennai have, so far, collected different taxes - property tax, profession tax and company tax - to the tune of Rs 102.11 crore through 2,45,726 transactions. The public can also pay wealth tax, electricity bill, drinking water and drainage charges and many other taxes.
