24 police inspectors of the Greater Chennai Police Department have been transferred. Transfers are ordered for administrative conveniences, disciplinary reasons and requests.
Greater Chennai Police Commissioner has ordered the transfer for these 24 police inspectors.
Some of the important transfers are as under:
Velacherry inspector K Sait has been transferred to Egmore. Shastri Nagar Crime Inspector P K Shivakumar has been transferred to Chetpet. Mangaadu Inspector R Mohan transferred to Elephant Gate. Thiruverkadu Inspector C Sam Vincent has been transferred to Esplanade.
Moreover law and order inspectors of Egmore, Chetpet, Kilpauk, Elephant Gate, Kothawal Chavadi, Muthialpet, Pulianthope, Otteri and Basin Bridge have been placed in compulsory wait.
