Introduction of Xiaomi Redmi 3S and 3S Prime

One of the leading smartphone makers, Xiaomi released 2 new smartphone models. Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime are the 2 new smartphone models introduced. Redmi 3S costs Rs. 6999/-. Redmi 3S prime costs Rs. 8999/-.
Mr. Manu Jain, speaking at the inaugural session, informed that over 10 Lakhs smartphones have been sold by the company in the 4 quarters. Out of this, 75 percent are made in India. The smartphones are made in the factory at Sri city in Andhra. Some models are imported. There is plan to increase the quantity of manufacture in Sri city.
Around 90 percent of the Xiaomi phones are sold online. On 9th August, 90000 smartphones got sold in 8 minutes.
Xiaomi smartphones are being sold on 2 websites online - Flipkart and MiDot.
