Chennai event - Painting Exhibition (6th Aug - 31st Aug)

The prominent art gallery and exhibition space will be showcasing an exhibition of paintings by prolific artists Akmal Hussain and Keiko Mima. Akmal Husain from Silchar graduated in painting from Santiniketan, after which he went on a three years scholarship to study Wood-Block Print Making from Kyoto Seika University, Japan. His works are in important collections in India and Abroad. Keiko from Hokkaido, Japan studied art from Suidobata Art School, Tokyo, Japan and went on to do B.F.A in Painting, from Kyoto Seika University, Kyoto, Japan. She has held her solo exhibitions at a lot of places in the world. Both the artists work out of Pondicherry.
