Invitation to participate in the Thirukkural elocution contest

The elocution competition on Thirukkural, conducted in 10 centres by Shriram Literary Council is scheduled from 30th July till 28th August.
Students may apply for participating.
The competition starts on 30th July at Dr. MGR Janaki Women’s Arts and Science College in Raja Annamalaipuram.
Following this, the competition will be conducted in 10 centres. including Puducherry, Madurai, Nellai, Thiruvarur, Trichy, Namakkal, Kovai, Salem, Vellore, and Chennai from 31st July till 28th August.
The final round will be conducted on 1st October.
The competition is conducted for 4 sections – Middle level, high level, higher secondary level, and college level. The winners will receive cash awards of Rs. 10000/-, Rs. 7500/-, and Rs. 5000 for the top 3 places.
Interested candidates can obtain the application forms from the nearest Shriram Chit Funds Branches and also at Shriram Chits, No. 145, Santhome High Road, Mylapore, Chennai-600004. Applications can be downloaded from the website: www.shriramchits.com.
Filled applications must be submitted before 23rd July.
