University of Delhi rolls out cut-off marks list

The University of Delhi has rolled out the cut off mark list now. This university has for the first time introduced online application system for the students. Works to admit students for the current academic year (1016-17) is now on the go here. Online applications for the same took place between 1st and 22nd of June. During previous academic year, the university received both online and offline applications. However, this year the university is open only for online applications from students.
 
So far, 2,50,914 students have applied for 54,000 seats in 63 colleges. During last year, 2,91,819 applications were received. This year, 1,30,354 applications from male students and 1,20,545 applications from female students are received. There is more number of applications received from the physically challenged. This is for the first time that the university has received online applications for sports and ECA quota. It was decided that student admission will be done based on cut-off marks following which the rank list was rolled out yesterday. This is drafted based on 100 percent scores.
 
The cut off for B.Com Honors with Ramjal College was 99.25 percent. The same for economics was 98.5 percent. Cut off for B.A. Economics with Hansraj college was 98 percent. In Sriram college of Commerce which is the leading college for studying B.Com Economics, the cut off for B.A. Economic Honours is 98.25 percent and for B. Com, it is 98 percent.
 
For science studies with Miranda House, the cut off is the same as last year which is 97.75 percent. The cut off for B.A. Psychology with lady Sriram College is 98.50 percent. B.A English and B.Com Economics have cut off of 9.25 percent and 98 percent respectively.
In all these 63 colleges a total of 54,000 seats are available for which 2.5 lakh students have sent applications.
