This is serious rains in Nilgiris district, 500 mm recorded at Porthimund, 238 mm in Upper Bhavani and 178 mm at Avalanche and Gudalur Agro 161 mm. In Coimbatore district Sholayar Dam gets 132 mm rainfall.
