16 police inspectors transferred in a swift move in Chennai Metro city

Following the recent gruesome murder of the Infosys techie Swathi in the Nungambakkam Railway station and the recent spurt in the number murder incidents, there has been some swift transfers in the Police Department.
A brief on the press release from the office of the Commissioner of Police, Chennai Metro city:

2. Tondiarpet Law & Order – Balakrishna Prabhu (Foreshore Estate)
3. Washermanpet Inspector – Jawahar (Thiruvanmiyur Law & Order)
4. Korukkupettai L:aw & Order – Amal Stanley (Madhavaram Crime Branch)
5. Royapuram Law & Order – Mohanraj (Port)
6. Kasimedu Law & Order – Abraham Chris Dorairaj (Central Crime Branch)
7. Fishing Port Inspector - Saravanan Prabhu (Prohibition Anna Nagar)
8. Kodungaiyur Law & Order – Rathnavel Pandiyan (Central Crime Branch)
Further, the following 8 inspectors have been transferred to control room. The current place of duty is given in brackets.
