Anna University releases the rank list

Anna University today released the engineering merit list. Higher Education Minister K. P. Anbalagan released the rank list. 7 candidates scored 200-200 cut off marks. The first four toppers are Apporva Darshini from Kerala, Vignesh, Bharathan and Rakhsana.
1.35 Lakhs candidates have applied for engineering courses. As many as 71,273 applicants who applied through Anna University’s single window counselling for admission to engineering courses are first-generation graduates. 1807 applicants have applied under sports category while 225 applicants have applied under the physical disability quota. 1934 applicants have applied under the ex-service men wards quota.
Rank list for the sports categories are being released on 23rd June. Counselling for candidates under the sports quota would be held on June 24 and for the differently abled will be held on June 25. The general students would need to attend the counseling formalities on 27th of June.
