Posted on: 21/Jun/2016 4:51:34 PM
PSLV C-34 is all set to get launched with 20 satellites in the morning tomorrow from Sriharikota. The 48 hour countdown for the same had started yesterday. The Indian Space Research Organization is in full swing expansion to stand on its own with all necessary technological advancements made for itself, without wanting to rely on other developed nations. ISRO doesn’t just send Indian satellites, but also those of other countries as well.

The PSLV C-34 satellite is set for getting launched from the second Launchpad at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. This will carry 20 satellites. The time scheduled for the rocket launch is 09.25 am tomorrow, 22nd June 2016. The 48 hour countdown for the same had started yesterday, Monday, in the morning, according to ISRO sources.

These 20 satellites also include satellites by Sathyabama University, Pune Engineering College and Cartosat by ISRO itself. The other 17 satellites are from America, Germany, Canada, Indonesia, etc.

Cartosat will do the job of capturing images of the earth, monitoring sea way transport, etc. This will weigh 727.5 kg. This satellite will orbit at 505 km distance from earth.

Sathyabamasat is made by students of Sathyabama university in Chennai. This weighs 1.5kg. This is sent to gather information about greenhouse gases. Swayam satellite by Oune engineering college weighs 1 kg.

ISRO has accomplished sending 10 satellites in the year 2008, to note. Keeping our fingers crossed and hoping ISRO to have more accolades in its hat, let us wait for the rocket to get successfully launched tomorrow.
