Underground trial between Koyambedu and Shenoy Nagar from 25th June

Chennai Metro Rail will be conducting the underground trial between Koyambedu and Shenoy Nagar from 25th June onwards. The service will be opened for the public after 6 months. Almost all the works connected with this sector have been completed. Finally the signalling work has also been completed. Few months back a trial run was conducted in this sector using 85 tonne rail engine. Due to assembly elections there was delay in trial runs. At this juncture, the trial run between Koyambedu and Shenoy Nagar will commence from  25th June
