Ayyappa temple at Sabarimala will be opened on 14th for monthly rituals
The Ayyappa temple at Sabarimala will be opened on 14th evening for monthly rituals in the month of Aani. The poojas will be performed till 19th�
Melsanthi (head priest) S.E. Sankaran Namboodiri will open the sanctum sanctorum at 5 p.m. and there would not be any temple ritual on 14th. Devotees will be allowed to climb the steps till 18th.
On 15th morning the temple will be opened at 5 am. Chief priest (Tantri), Kandararu Maheswararu Mohanararu will perform abhishekam and will start the ghee abhishekam.
The temple will be closed at 10 pm on 19th.
