Water supply to be disrupted in South Chennai from today till Sunday

The Nemmeli desalination plant, which supplies water to several areas in south Chennai, will be shut for routine maintenance on 10th,11th and 12th June. Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, which is in charge of the plant`s maintenance, has made alternate arrangements for water supply to areas like Adyar, Velachery, Besant Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, East Coast Road , Neelankarai, Sholinganallur, Kottivakkam, Palavakkam and Perungudi, which will be affected by the work.
